Aluminum World Journal
Background:
For three consecutive years row1graphics created and designed the ‘Aluminium World Journal’ for the London based publishing house Global Media Communication. The ‘Aluminium World Journal’ is a trade and industry brochure which is distributed worldwide.
The design was well received within the industry and has clear concise indexing with a clean layout. Each company have their own branding and look which is kept within the ‘Aluminium World Journal’ brand design in keeping with the brief.
Global Media Communication were kept updated with each article and so were their clients which meant that the project ran on time and was delivered within the dedicated deadline. This of course is essential when printers are booked with presses ready to roll with a release date looming. The ‘Aluminium World Journal’ was also required to be formatted and uploaded for on-line viewing.
Brief:
Global Media Communication source the content [editorial, images, branding etc.] which is then sent through to row1graphics to create the design and layout with the emphasis on keeping the separate brand identities [ABB, Cargotec, ECL, Innovatherm, Rio Tinto etc.] within the overall branding and look of the ‘Aluminium World Journal’. The first edition row1graphics worked on was x74 pages and the last was x106 pages so the indexing and page layout was paramount.
